Day 18, Tuesday,   On to Bryce Canyon National Park along hwy 24 and hwy 12; itsy bitsy towns along the way, but at least we finally saw SOME reason for the Mormons coming to Utah!! Before today, the land would have seemed ,on arriving in Utah, to have felt like a life sentence!! Bryce Canyon is gorgeous...have not had the opportunity yet to say "seen one rock, seen them all". Had dinner at the Cowboy Smokehouse where we were entertained by two brothers from the town (Panguitch). They were pretty good in their singing and songwriting, but will probably not play many other places ;-)
