Day 26 & 27, Wed./Thur   Headed back to the coastal route on Hwy 1, beautiful drive to Cambria, a quaint little village coastal town, where we stopped for the night. Dinked around in some fabulous shops; bought a raffle ticket to save the rain forest (and win a beautiful vase). Thursday, we began the day by looking at some real estate...San Simeon to be exact!! The man truly wanted a CASTLE and he got a beautiful one. We got some great interior decorating ideas ;-)!! On to Monterey, our drive on Hwy 1 had moments of spectacular grandeur, however there was a lot of fog. Saw elephant seals molting on the beach and just took in as much of the cool sea air as possible...we do love the water!
