7/ 8 /00 Day 1, Saturday , our goal was to get through the parts of Washington where we "had been there, done that". Stopped in Spokane, ate Cajun and strolled through Riverfront Park (site of the 1974 world's fair) and admired the Falls!
Staging of all the stuff necessary for a month long trip. Doesn't seem like enough or maybe way too much. Time will tell Since it is summer, we decided to be well stocked with liquid refreshments.
I don't know why Lynn insist on bringing games. Chips and road maps. What more could a traveler want.
Lynn takes command of the wheel. Little did I know how seldom she would let it go. 80 MPH. Is that legal in Washingtom??
Crossing the Columbia at Vantage, WA. where did al the trees go??? What a team. Will we be together in 30 days. A real test of a 30+ year marriage.
