7/ 11 /00 We began Day 4, Tuesday, after a tour of the Castle in White Sulphur Springs. We headed out across the BIG SKY country. Cruised through Billings (too big) except to wash the bugs from the car (again), and on to Little Bighorn Monument. (The ranger had great passion for the subject of the war...such a waste, all and all!) Very interesting and a wonderful day and time to visit...late afternoon, so we had great play with light and shadows. A storm was to the west with great lightening bolts and made for another spectacular Montana sunset. Hit 100MPH today (the road was straight)...we've got to approach these things in steps; who knows what tomorrow will bring! (Too bad we didn't bring the Volvo). Spent the night in Sheridan.
