7/ 16 - 17 /00 Day 9 and 10, Sunday and Monday, Jackson to Rawlins was NOT the most beautiful area on earth...so not a lot to picture! Spent the night in Rawlins, WY. Experienced several thunder storms with heavy rain and lightning. The restaurant went black just after our order was on the grill., so we had a great meal in the dark. There was the Old Frontier Prison that closed in 1981, but that was about it in Rawlins. They told us that this was unusual weather...hmmm! Stopped in Larime to visit the Territorial museum and Dinosour museum. Territorial museum had an interesting section on books and book publishing. Then we decided to drive on down the road. Tonight in Cheyenne WY...of course, our motel is next to the rrailroad tracks again...just lucky, I guess. We need to get out of these clouds so we can see the Rockies tomorrow...on to Denver! This is still fun and we still like each other (for those who were concerned)!!
