Fried Biscuits (a favorite of the Patin and Anderson families for generations)

1 cup flour

1 tsp salt

1.5 - 2 tsp baking powder

.66 milk

Mix all dry ingredients until throughly blended. Then add milk, mixing until a sticky dough condition. Place dough on a floured board (flat surface), sprinkle dough with flour, roll with floured rolling pin to .25 thickness. Cut with cookie cutter or knife (1.5" wide - 2-3" long - parallelagram shape works well). Make a couple knife slits in each biscuit. Fry in oil (vegetable or Crisco) deep enough for the biscuit to float while cooking until golden brown.

We usually produce this meal  in 2-3 batch mixes
