Page 2 Fried Biscuits (a favorite of the Patin and Anderson families for generations) 1 cup flour 1 tsp salt 1.5 - 2 tsp baking powder .66 milk Mix all dry ingredients until throughly blended. Then add milk, mixing until a sticky dough condition. Place dough on a floured board (flat surface), sprinkle dough with flour, roll with floured rolling pin to .25 thickness. Cut with cookie cutter or knife (1.5" wide - 2-3" long - parallelagram shape works well). Make a couple knife slits in each biscuit. Fry in oil (vegetable or Crisco) deep enough for the biscuit to float while cooking until golden brown. We usually produce this meal in 2-3 batch mixes
